Being one of the many unknown and unsigned underground Los Angeles rappers doesn’t always mean the end of the world for emerging hip hop artists from the underground. Rap artist and producer Pat RIOT has been steady grinding out urban music for the last 10 years and is starting to come into his own. After a full-length 2012 online release he returns in the summer of 2014 with a new album “Pat RIOT: Expat”. Here’s a few songs off that album now.
Unknown, Unsigned, & Underground Rappers | Los Angeles Hip Hop Artist Pat RIOT
With production credits and cameos by producers and other underground hip hop talent and beat makers like Alexis Von Guggenberg (G.U.G.G.), Mozart Jones, Mstacks, D.v.o. and T. Cones, the new album is already receiving rave reviews by listners on the street level as well as YouTube.
Pat RIOT started making music in Washington D.C. when serving in the US Navy. After moving back home and graduating from the University of Houston in 2008, he moved to LA in 2011 to pursue music and acting. After only a month of attendance he was asked to leave the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles where he enrolled as an MFA student, and went on to start his own local business and produce music.
